To prevent a Rottweiler puppy from growing into an aggressive dog, implement the following tips into your training routine.

-Always Be Firm
When it comes to training any dog, you need to be assertive in order to establish yourself as the pack leader, but this is even more important when it comes to Rottweilers, who will only respect those that prove their authority over them. If you’re inconsistent or soft in your approach, your Rottweiler will walk all over you.

-It’s Never Too Early to Start Training
When it comes to Rottweilers, the earlier you begin training them, the better. So even if your puppy is only 2 months old, take advantage of his ability to learn quickly while also establishing yourself as the alpha. If you let your puppy get away with misbehaving, these habits will carry into adulthood and will be much harder to break.

-Groom Your Dog Frequently
Grooming is a great way to soothe your dog while also proving you’re the dominant one in the pack. And it’s also an ideal way to get your dog used to being handled so that he’s not aggressive towards vets.
